The B.L.A.C.K. HAIR Method course by Carlton Porter Love, Master of Hair, is a transformative 12-week course meeting weekly for 2 hours, taught through live online small group classes, designed to teach you how to handle any client that walks through your door, with any type of hair.
Following the 12-week course you can join anytime into the more free-flowing interactive master trainings and discussions. (An exciting free-to-members interactive representation of hair skills by Carlton, guests and students. Optional.)

The B.L.A.C.K. HAIR Method is an acronym that stands for Barbering, Loc's, And, Coloring, Kinky Hair – the cornerstones of this comprehensive training program. Over the course of 6 months, you'll embark on a journey of unparalleled growth and skill development, guided by Carlton Porter Love himself.
The course contains two parts. For the first three months you are brought through the B.L.A.C.K. HAIR Method's trainings in weekly small-group live sessions with Carlton. For the second three months you have full access to Carlton's inner circle trainings, a more interactive and free-flow high-powered masters skill group.
During this time, you'll dive deep into the intricacies of barbering, loc care, coloring techniques, and mastering all hair textures, exploring European, African, Latin, Asian, Polynesian and more. Carlton's expertise and personalized attention will ensure that your skills grow in all of these essential disciplines, ...and the courses are entertaining with Carlton's authentic approach to hair and life!
Once you are through the course, you also receive a certification plaque to portray your skill-levels to your clients and open conversations about hair and your unique expertise.

Hey, I'm Carlton Porter Love, Master of Hair!
In 1980's I left the University of Colorado in Boulder to join the local hair styling school. This decision has given me the blessings of financial freedom and has provided for my family and more. Throughout my life I have I studied under 5 masters of hair in different areas of expertise, owned several salons and barbershops in diverse communities, and worked with amazing people, several quite successful and famous in their own paths.
From working and building my skills in diverse communities, I've developed the B.L.A.C.K. HAIR Method®. This is a fundamental system to be able to Barber, Loc & Color on any race of hair, so you can build and retain your clients and have freedom as a result.
